In Mecosta County, Michigan, if your 16 years old and get caught smoking marijuana at school, how much legal trouble do you face?

This all depends on whether the school keeps it internal or reports it to the police. If they keep it internal then you would likely not face criminal prosecution; however, they can and likely would report it to the local police department. Therefore, criminal prosecution would pursue. You would be looking at a misdemeanor charge for use. Best of luck.
