Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

well i was in meijers 2 days ago and got a bowl of fruit and 1 20 oz pepsi the fruit i payed for the pop i did not and loss prevention stopped me took mr in the back but said that they had been watching me for a few monts now on suspision of returning stolen property they called the cops i had a warrant for dwls so oi went to jail however meijers loss prevention said that they only called the cops so they could poitevley id mei was bonded out of jail but im confused cause they stopped me for the pop but questioned me about returning stuff and said that they were not pressing charges for the pop but they are doing a investigation about the returning how ever my bond was 550 for dwls and 200 for retail fraud so i was charged with it correct and if so can they still try to charge me with the other also it was 2 male loss prevention employess and i female door greter and both the 2 males made me give my purse to them checked it and took recirpts out of my purse along with all my other personel stuff and it was the pop i did not pay for and that was right in the open so was it legal to go thru my purse
