Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Michigan, i am being charged as an accessory after the fact to the felony act of unarmed robbery. my question is this, can i be charged and tried and found guilty before the person who is being charged with the actual crime? also if the crime is lowered down to a misdemeanor for the person who is charged with unarmed robbery, can i still be charged as an accessory after the fact to a misdemeanor?

Yes ... and yes. A person can be convicted of being an aider-and-abettor or of being an accomplice or an accessory after-the-fact without the principal criminals having been convicted yet (or ever). You can also be convicted of accessory to a felony even if the principal was found guilty of a misdemeanor ... or even found not guilty at trial.
