Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Hello I am in michigan. I was picked up friday night for having a concealed weapon ( the gun was a legal owned gun in my name I just didnt have a permit to carry) also for having the gun on me in a bar, and carrying a gun in a restricted zone. The big one is that it can bring a 2-5 year prison sentence. I have a clean record other then this mistake. I am in school full time, and a navy vet. If I am convicted of the felony i lose my GI bill for school. What type of plea bargon do you think I can get at pretrial?
