miner drug possesion

my son was called in to school office and forced to empty pockets from school officer had marijuana on him they want to charge him sales..can they do this without my consent to search him..hes 17 yrs old they never called me till after they forced him to empty pockets he refused and the officer locked him in the room grabed him and told him empty them or he wouldschool cop said there chargeing him with selling on school property

Your son is 17 and is no longer a juvenile. He has the same rights and faces the same penalties as an adult.

No one needs your consent.

Selling marijuana is a 4 year felony. If he's doing in a school, the possible punishment is enhanced.

A lawyer can keep him out of jail if he's charged.
