Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Minor in possesion

i got an MIP back when i was 17 and i got put on diversions for pleading guilty. It was a fine and one year non reporting probabtion bascially just stay out of trouble and it will be expunged after the year. well i screwed up again this past weekend, when i got another one at MSU where i attend school. What do you think will happen? I also have a question on the way the police handled things in my dorm room. When they knocked on the door, i told everyone in the room not to answer my door and somebody did anyways, would that qualify as a bad search or what?

If you're still on probation, your VOP may send you to jail.

If not, then look forward to drug/alcohol tratment plus reporting probation.

Your buddy's disobedience is irrelevant.

Nice victory for State over Pitt on Saturday night. Go Green.

Although there is no public record of your first MIP, the courts and the cops still can access that guilty plea. It will be important to try to be this pending criminal case. You're too young to go through life with this conviction on your record. It's not cheap to hire an experienced, aggressive attorney but you've got to fight to protect your future. We can help you with this.
