Minor In Possession: Michigan

I recently recieved a Minor in Possession (MIP) in the state of Michigan. I turn 21 in 3 weeks, and was sentenced to 6 months non-report probation and had to pay a fine. When I turn 21, do the probationary terms still apply? Am I not allowed to consume or possess alcohol even though I am legally of age?

Yes, your probation terms trump your turning 21. Do not drink alcohol if you are on probation and forbidden to do so as a term of your probation. Tim Klisz.
