mip and possession of marijuana
Im 18 years old and being charged with possession of marijuana and alcohol possession by a minor in a vehicle. i have never been in any trouble with the police before and was wondering if there is any chance the charges will be dropped, or if not, what your professional opinions are of what will happen to me. thanks!

My opinion is that you should have an experienced and aggressive attorney represent you. At this young age, you don't need to have a criminal record for the rest of your life.

It's unlikely that you will be jailed, but you will lose your driving privilege for 6 months if convicted along with a year's probation.
If you test positive for drugs or alcohol during that year you may be jailed starting with about 14 days.
