how do you get a misdimeter removed?
was on railroad property-taking photographs-cop shows up and hands me a ticket

I assume you paid the ticket? If that was a while ago, you can move for expungement 5 years after the conviction, assuming no other criminal violations in your life. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss further. Tim Klisz

If you have already been convicted, you can have the misdemeanor expunged 5 years from the date of conviction if you have no other crimes on your record.
If you have not yet been convicted there are a number of ways to resolve/dismiss this without a conviction.
