Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Negligent Homicide and the Law
I was in an auto accident and a man died. I was not drinking, or on a cell phone it was a true accident. I was found guilty. My attorney did not inform me this was treated as a felony by the legal system, it is a misdemeanor. (Two year) The Judge suspended my license for the term of probation (3 yrs). I lost my Job and am unable to continue in the human service field in school.
