Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Last night I got in a cab very intoxicated, then got dropped off and didn't pay the cab the 3 dollar fare. He called the police and when they came he said I owed him 17 dollars and all i had was 12 so they wrote me for a defrauding an innkeeper ticket. Basically I was wondering how much this ticket will cost me and if there is any way i can fight it, maybe paying what i owed the cab company so that I don't get a misdemeanor.
