Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

last night i overdosed on heroin my friend didnt know what to do so he called 911. the paramedics came and the cops did also. I was brought back to life in his basement. I was taken to the hospital to be watched. the cops came there and gave me a charge of having a needle and he said if the needle comes back positive for heroin i will be charged with a felony possesion. Is this legal for calling 911 when i was dead? Thank you for your help.

Sure it's legal. You probably weren't declared dead that night, but even if you were it wouldn't matter. The law does not treat you as if you had died for any other purpose, and it won't do so here either.
