Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Help with Non-arrest and conviction
I was not arrested for a felony theft from an employer, placed on the diversion program, which I did not complete (extremely pregnant at the time), my former employer received money from his insurance company, who in turn placed me in collections and I have been paying them. I'm pretty much a recluse now, afraid to pay an old traffic fine or renew my drivers license ( I think I'll be arrested and my children will have nobody). I was never arrested, my attorney said he would use the non-arrest issue if he had too, but then when my court date came he left me with a different attorney. I don't know what to do and I'm frightened.

You should have an attorney determine whether there is an outstanding arrest warrant. If not, you probably don't have anything to worry about at this point. If there is a warrant, an aggressive attorney ought to be able to keep you out of jail anyway. I recommend speaking with a lawyer right away. For additional information, go to:

Pay your ticket right away. Then, take the receipt to the SoS and get your license back (probably $125 reinstatement fee).
You won't be subject to arrest for this activity unless you're pulled over before you pay the fine and get reinstated.
I don't understand the rest (beginning) of your inquiry.
