Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
nonsuficient funds
20 years ago I went to prison for bad checks for 21 months. I got out Ausest 10, 1987. One county sentenced me to 5 years probation, I reported as I was told and eventauly released, now 20 years later I get a postcard saying I still owe 2,821.56. I am disabled on oxegen 24/7 and I live on 585.00 a month there is no way I can pay this money, I didnt even know I owed. Is there any thing I can do? thank you for your time.
