Notice To Appear

I'm the plaintiff, do I have to appear in court, I told the proscutorer's office I did'nt want to press charges; they mail me a Victim's Impact questionair, I fill it out in favor of the defendant; saying, I just want him to get helphave to appear in court?

You are not the plaintiff. You must appear in court only if you get a subpoena to appear in court.

You are the "Complainant", or sometimes the "Victim", the city or state is the plaintiff.

You don't have to appear unless you have been served with a subpoena. This seldom happens unless the case goes to trial. 95% don't.
