Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
o the police came to my apartment for my roommate on an unrelated incident. They smelled marijuana and walked in. I was in the bathroom cleaning out my Grinder when they came in. They searched my room and found a bong. they did not confiscate anything. I received a call one month later telling me that they are pressing charges. Marijuana is decriminalized in my city but the county police came so it didn't matter. I have no prior offenses and I currently in college. I have no idea what to do. what are my options.
