Re: third offence dui michigan

You need to either hire a criminal defense attorney who specializes in drunk driving defense, or apply to the court for an appointed attorney if you cannot afford to hire one.

Aside from that, not much more advice / comment can be made because you gave very limited background information, no information about the actual OWI case facts, no explanation why you were not accepted into the sobriety court, etc. All of those issues (and more) need to be analyzed by the one attorney you decide to represent you.

Don't delay. You are charged with a felony (OWI 3rd Offense), which now can be charged no matter how old your two prior convictions are. This is called "Heidi's Law".

Re: third offence dui michigan

I would find an attorney right away. I recently had a DUI-2nd dismissed in Romulus because of some factual and probable cause issues. I don't know the facts in your case but if you contact my office at 248.705.3742 we can discuss this.
