MCL 750.81d covers resisting/obstructing/hindering/opposing/assaulting/battering/wounding various public service officials, including police, sheriff deputies, conservation officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, etc.

If a paramedic is assaulted while performing his/her duties as a paramedic AND the defendant knew or had reason to know that the person was performing such duties, then this crime might apply.
