Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I pleaded guilty to retail fraud 3 in Michigan. I missed my first court date and turned myself in. I was sentenced to 12 months probation. After my probation ended I got a parking ticket. Can I qualify to get my record expunged after 5 years?

YES, traffic offenses, as long as they are civil infractions (speeding, parking, etc) will not impact your expungement efforts after five years. A reminder that the five year minimum is from the date of the completion of your probation.
