Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
After pleading guilty to the charge, because I was not a resident of the state and have no legal knowledge of the courts scope, can I claim ineffective council and withdraw my plea? How do I do that ?

It is not ineffective assistance of counsel if you have a lawyer to represent you because you have no legal knowledge. That is the basic purpose of having an attorney.

Sometimes a plea can be withdrawn. There might be grounds such that the judge might allow that. Hire the best attorney you can afford. You can read more at:
