Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

police brutality

I was areested for domestic assault. When I was brought to the police station I was then searched by an officer whom I told to leave my private parts alone. He then pepper sprayed me and cuffed me to a chair for 8 hours. When taken for fingerprints and cuffs taken off my wrists were swollen and bruised, the cuffs cut into my wrists. Oficers also jumped on me after the searching cop had sprayed me with the pepper spray. When released I explained all this to the sargeant. What can be done? Thank You

Re: police brutality

You may have a serious injury, especially if the nerves of your wrists are damaged. You give too little information in your question for e to be specific. But tell me. Where and when did this happen? And what crime(s) are you now charged with? How you resolve your criminal case will greatly affect any lawsuit you may file later.

I would be happy to consult with you further. I can be reached at 248-354-6330.
