Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Possesion?
My exwife found marijuana in her house and gave it to the police and said it was my sons (17). It was found in my sons old room that my ex and her boyfriend occupy now.My son had moved out of her house two months before this. Her boyfriend admitted smoking pot. Can the police charge my son with possesion or anything?

Re: Possesion?
Yes, he could be charged with possession of marijuana. Whether or not they can convict him of the charge is a different issue. The police may ask him to come to the station for an interview. Any discussions with the police should be through an attorney.
