Re: possession of marijuana
Technically, police have to have more than a confession to convict you of this drug crime. If the police testify that they smelled the odor of marijuana (or there was a burnt roach nearby, etc.) AND you confessed, that'd be enough.
But a confession with no other evidence of "the corpus" of the crime is not enough to convict a person.

If you are convicted of a drug charge, your license will be suspended for 30 days. You should have an experienced and aggressive attorney fighting for you.

Re: possession of marijuana
It's suspended for 6 months with a restricted license after 30 days (work school only).
If you confess, they don't need a test, but usually get one if its not in writing. One nanogram of THC is enough to convict.
Re: possession of marijuana
Your license can be suspended and if you said you were smoking that is pretty strong evidence against you. Blood tests are not required.
