Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
possestion charge
this past monday i was arrested for domestic violence in my home with my fiance, while i was arrested the officers searched my home and did not have permission from me and if she (my fiance gave them permission they still should not have been able to search because it is not her house she does not live there so therfore she has no athority.. what are my rights to this so i can shake this charge i have court on this comming wensday..

You're really going to be unhappy when Judge Cassidy orders you out of your own house unless your fiance agrees to let you back in.
The officers searched your home for weapons (guns) and would have taken them if you had any.
Even if the search was illegal, it would have nothing to to with your DV charge.
I'd need to know some more about the incident that caused the police to come to your house before I'd give you any more advice.

If the police believed they had permission from someone that lived at the residence, the search was probably good. Hire an experienced attorney.
