Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Probation
My girlfriend's probabtion period is almost up. She lost her job a few months ago and is unable to pay her fines and court cost. She has been activley seeking employment with no luck. Will she be sentenced to jail if she does not have these fines paid by the dead line. She is in school and has paid the resitution, just not the fines and court cost. Do judges grant extra time? If she gets sentenced to jail for not paying the probation she would lose even more money since she is in school and has paid for her classed already.

Simple solution. Since you are her boyfriend, help her out and loan her the money or pay it for her. She doesn't go to jail and you can be the hero. Good luck. www.kliszlaw.com Tim Klisz
