Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

I am on probation for an MIP. I just got charged with 3rd degree larseny, the item was just under $30.00. I don't want jail time. Hopefully just some fines and community service. But I am wondering what is the best way to go upon this. I have an attorney that said he could be at court for me for $750. Would it even be worth it if I plead guilty? I'm just trying to get the punishment to a minimum. What do I do?

You should hire an attorney that answers all of your questions and one that you feel comfortable with. The fact that you are asking the questions "What do I do?" after having consulted with an attorney leads me to believe all of your questions were not answered. I would be more than happy to assist you, even if that is giving you some friendly advice. Feel free to contact me, I routinely handle these matters.

I don't believe you can hire a serious attorney for $750. If you are serious about trying to handle the case the best way, hire a serious attorney that will do something more than just pleased you guilty. You can read more at
