Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I was on probation about 17 yrs. ago which I thought I had completed, my PO stated she was letting me off early due to all fees where paid and I completed all assignments and I did everything I was suppose to do. I found out 2 yrs. ago that I have a warrant for probation violation. I called the courts and I owe no fees or anything. I contacted the PO at the time and she stated that I was to get it cleared with the courts, which was never told to me. How can I get this warrant issue resolved without me having to travel? I will hire an attorney if need be.

The bench warrant needs to be set aside. The bond on the warrant can be paid and an arraignment date set. I would need to review the court file, and the violation allegations. Call me to discuss.
