Contact a police agency that has jurisdiction in the municipality where the alleged forgery occurred. If that's not clear, contact the Michigan State Police, because they have jurisdiction throughout the state.
Prosecutors require factual investigations by a neutral investigative agency ... usually a police department. In my experience, they won't issue just on your say-so about the facts at the prosecutor's office's front window.
