Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

I have a question. I am a MI resident. I went through a nasty divorce which was final in February. My ex was virtually given EVERYTHING in the divorce. I got nothing. I had no money, he has a good job. He had a big time lawyer, mine sucked. Our home was deeded in both our names. Anyways, my ex was awarded exclusive use of the home, and awarded the home in the divorce. He was also awarded the 1st and 2nd mortgage as well,(he wanted them) as he was given the home in full. He had to pay me nothing for it. Anyway, in yesterdays newspaper there is a posting Notice to Pursuant Foreclosure Sale.It is an attorney for the mortgage company. My name as well as his is posted in the ad.I am so embarrassed and humiliated. My question is do I have any recourse against my ex for not fulfilling his obligation and humiliating me? Not only that, they will probably come after me as well for any defecientcy and it will be a judgement against my credit. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

It is very possible you will have some recourse to him so you don't get stuck with the deficiency balance. This would depend on many factors. I recommend you hire an attorney to consult with you about how to best protect yourself.
