Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I have two questions. First what does supplemental sentencing mean? 2nd I am in flint mi. And a case I am paying for was bound over to circuit court closed and then reopened back in district court, I have never heard of this why would it happen?

I don't think I've ever heard the term supplemental sentencing. The case could have been dismissed in circuit court without prejudice and if they wish to pursue the case again they would have to start over again in district court. Or, it could be that they felt they could not proceed with a felony so it was remanded back to district court to pursue a misdemeanor case. If you do not have a lawyer, you need to get one soon. An experienced criminal defense attorney should be able to answer all these questions after reviewing your entire case.
