Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I recently was given a misdemeanor ticket for "Furnishing alcohol to a minor" from an undercover cop at a sporting event. The minor in question did not drink anything and was not given a breathalizer. The undercover policeman stopped us after the minor and I had walked about 15ft. with beers in both of our hands. I want to know what I can expect as far as a sentence and what I can do to reduce the charge.
