Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I have no record. I was desperate, and drinking, and stole a check from a co-workers personal checkbook that she keeps at work. I bought groceries with the check. The police called her and told her I was a strong suspect. What am I facing? The police havent contaced me yet. I only know this because my employer placed me on administrative leave. My stomach is in knots. I can't believe I did this. It is not even in my character. Please help me.
