Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Record expunge or seal
I have 2 felonies in michigan in which they were both plea deals. These events occured over 30 years ago. I am currently trying to seal these records as if conflicts with future jobs. They say you cant seal if you have two convictions. I dont know if plea deals are they same as convictions. If so, how can I get around this snag to acheive my goal?

Re: Record expunge or seal
If you pled guilty to more than 1 felony, despite the time period, you are NOT eligible for expungement under the current Michigan laws.
