can my father speak for me at my arrangment?

During you arraignment, you'll just want to state that you "stand mute before the court" they'll enter a plea of not guilty for you.

BUT OTHERWISE GET AN ATTORNEY! at worse get a court appointed attorney, you can ask when you go for the arraignment for a court appointed attorney, if you can;t afford a retained one, they'll be able to speak for you. Plus if you are mentally impaired in some manner it may effect the outcome of this matter, an atty will be better able to serve you and guide you through the murky waters
