Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Responsibility
A friend became aware that her husband has recently committed credit card fraud. Does she a legal responsibility/obligation to notify authorities about this crime? Can she be implicated because she knows?

She has no legal responsibility/obligation to notify authorities about this crime. She cannot be implicated because she knows about it or even if she witnessed the crime. Its called misprision and is not a crime.
However, if she took any part in it, she would be as culpable as her husband.
