Some prosecutor offices will tell you if they have issued a criminal complaint ... but others will advise you to contact the police agency that investigated the case (which will know that the complaint has been filed/signed in the district court and whether an arrest warrant is in the Law Enforcement Information Network).

The store has made a civil (not a criminal) demand. No warrant will issue if you do not pay.

It's unlikely the store will prosecute you since it costs them time and money. Walmart has a cutoff of $25 and won't prosecute below that.

Warrants are handled through the police not the store.
