Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

retail fraud 3rd degree

Took 35.00 worth of merchandise from walmart. Got caught admitted guilt, returned items. Police were called, taken to station and given a citation.. Must call court within 10 days. Age 19, 1st offense, clean record. Live in mich. Misdemeanor.

You should ask the court to grant HYTA status (Holmes Youthful Trainee Act), which puts you on probation and gives the court authority to dismiss the charge if you successfully complete everything.
