my son is on probation for felonous assault. he has a probation violation for not completing required classes. he is going to go to prison for this violation. my question is does his sentencing guidlines score change due to probation violation or does score stay the same. and can judge sentence him to more time than guidline requires.

Re: sentencing guidline scores
Sentencing guidelines do not apply to probation violations and the judge can sentence him up to the maximum sentence of his prison/jail time on the particular crime, including habituals (if applicable).
