If a girl is 17 and has a 27 year old boyfriend is it illegal for them to have sex?

It's not illegal but it's kind of wierd for an adult to be interested in a teenage kid. What's wrong with him?

It is not illegal, just creepy. If the "boyfriend" gives the 17 year old any drugs or alcohol before or during having sex with her or if she is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, he can be arrested for criminal sexual conduct and spend a long time in prison.
This often happens when an angry mother finds out her teenage daughter has had a drinking and sex experience with some jerk who is 10 years older and calls the cops.
Think about it. When the male was your age now, you were only 7.
