Yes. It could be "Use of ___", "Possession of ___", "Distribution Without Remuneration of ____".

If the drug was marijuana, then all of those are misdemeanors. If it was a narcotic like cocaine or meth or heroin or LSD, then they could be felonies.

Ordinarily it's nice to share with your friends - just like they taught you in kindergarten.

Unfortunately, when you share drugs, it becomes a 4 year felony.

Sharing and selling are treated the same under Michigan law.
