Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

My sister-in-law has two felony drug charges and also a felony false pretence charge. Do you think she would be a candidate for drug court? She is currently in jail waiting to go in front of the judge on her second meth charge. What are the possibilities that she will do time in prison? She also just found out she is four months pregnant

Not every court system has drug court and since this is a second offense, it is quite possible that she is not a candidate. Depending on what your sister-in-law's previous criminal history is and her offense variables, will determine whether or not she is likely to go to prison. Pregnancy will have little effect on that decision for a judge. It is best to consult with and retain an experienced attorney to assist her in these matters.
