Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
my son is 15 and he is being accused of raping a 12 year old boy there is an investigation going on and the detective wants him to take a lie detector test on dec.3. well he id disabled with a learning disability and adhd i have no money because i am disabled but need an attorney legal aid wont do criminal law what should i do?

No, he doesn't have to take the test unless he wants to take it. If he is charged, then he may be eligible for a court appointed attorney. Also, some attorneys may take cases on a pro bono basis-meaning for free (excluding court costs and fees, which the attorney should ask the court to waive).
