my son
my son has been in jail for 2 days because someone said he did something how long can they hold him without charging him with something

They are supposed to arraign him within 48 hours. That does not always happen.
What is important is that your son know that you will be there for him when he is released. Is he being held in Dearborn?
I handle many cases in Dearborn. Is he being held in the police department's lockup, or somewhere else?
