Son of Sam law
Does Michigan currently have a son of sam statute, or any other statute governing a convicted person's right to profit from stories about her crimes?

The New York "Son of Sam" statute was overturned by the US Supreme Court in December 1991. So after researching Michigan's First Amendment laws and not finding anything similar to New York's statute, my educated guess is no. If there is something hidden somewhere, I doubt whether it would pass Constitutional muster.
