Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

stalking

im being charged with misdemeanor stalking and driving with suspended license and im not from michigan i live in Massachusetts and im on bond here in Michigan and cant go home to MA so im stuck here i have a chance to have a court appointed lawyer but i will have to wait for the case in 4 weeks and im running low on money here so i cant wait the 4 weeks i have no criminal record do you think i should just go to court on the 30th of this month without a lawyer or do you think i will go to jail if i don't have the court appointed lawyer with me or should i risk it and go on the 30th thats in a week in a half??

I don't think that you're qualified to practice law on your own. My first recommendation is that you find a way to hire an experienced, tough attorney. If your friends and family won't help you to hire an attorney, you might get stuck relying on a court appointed attorney.
