Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
in regards to statue of limitations. is there a time frame for a bringing some one up on changes for registering an email address if they are on the sex offenders lists.
example. they have an email address and are unable to get to the sheriffs offices to register it in the 3 - 7 day time frame but they do get there and register it. how long does the prosecutor have to bring up charges for failing to register the email in the time given?

The prosecutor generally has six years from the date of the offense to bring charges.
