Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Statute of limitation on criminal background.

I was convicted of assault with the int. to comm. great bodily harm (Ct.# 1) and felony fire-arm (Ct.#2) April 1990, April 1998 i was released on parole, 4/2000 i discarged from parole. 8/2003 i was convicted misdemeanor domestic violence, which i received probation for upon which was dismissed after successful completion. My question is does my first aforementioned conviction (Ct.#1) and (Ct.#2)qualifies as one conviction and although the second conviction was dismissed will it deter me from exsponging my criminal record? The two charges i described are the only crimes i've ever committed. Can i exsponge my record and/or do my criminal record have a statute of limitation to which potential employers can view my criminal pass? I thank you in advance. Respectfully, Yours D.L.

Re: Statute of limitation on criminal background.

You are not and will never be eligible for an expungement. Your only hope is a pardon.

Don't hold your breath.

Re: Statute of limitation on criminal background.

Your multiple convictions make you not eligible for expungement at any time.
