Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I successfully completed the Michigan 7411 requirements in 2007 for a possession of cocaine charge. Probably doesn't matter but the drugs did not belong to me but were stowed in my vehicle without my knowledge. I am currently working towards my RN degree and am seeking employment at a correctional facility as a nurse aide. My question is will this incident bar me from employment at a state agency? I know I am able to check no convictions on regular non-state employment application. Also do I have to disclose this info on a state application?

You have to tell about the 7411 if specifically asked. Take a look at a correctional employee application on line. That should give you your answer.
