Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
teather program
my son has been sentanced to 2 1/2 to 15 yr in prison for 3 counts of home invasion. He is at the florence crane correction facility. Does he qualify to be on teather after a certin amount of time? He is getting his high school diploma there and drug counciling. Would he qualify for teather after he completes his courses?

The Dept. of Corrections does not have a tether program. I don't know about qualifying for teacher but I believe that teachers may be hired from outside the facility. Questions like that are best directed to the Dept. of Corrections.
