Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
The truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth
Does this also apply when giving your side of the story to your attorney? No previous statement has been made by me to police but charges have been brought against me by another person. Do I tell my attorney the true story and let him figure out how to get me out of this mess, or tell him the story I want portrayed in court? How important is it that the attorney knows everything that happened. I am new to this. Help!!!!!!

Re: The truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth
Tell the truth to your attorney or it will be difficult for him to help you. Anything my clients EVER tell me stays with me only, no matter what. Thats how my office is run. Should you have any questions of strategy, you should let the attorney make that decision. Any other questions? 248.569.1900. - Jesse
